HOLY MOLY. That's all I can say after I finally tried out the recipe that was recommended in one of my lovely challenge groups...everyone had been raving about these >>guiltless<< GF, Dairy Free cookies and I JUST got around to making hem this week!
That recipe was only 2-3 ingredients (bananas, oats plus any mix ins) but I adapted it to sneak in a little extra nutrition with Shakeo!
Good luck not eating the ENTIRE tray in one sitting. Even if you did, it would still be ok!
- 2.5 large old banana’s
- 1 cup of oats (chopped up fine or use quick oats)
- 1tsp cinnamon
- 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder
- 1/8 cup carob chips
- Other mix in ideas: nuts, pumpkin puree, peanut butter, PB2, dried friut
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat bananas in mixer or mash until smooth. Add remainder of ingredients and blend well. Place flattened spoonfuls of dough on a well greased baking sheet or use a silpat.
Bake for 15 minutes and eat 'em up while they are hot and gooey!
